Participation in the “Blue-9 Pet Products #Blue9Buddy Content Feature Program” (“Program”) constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

Open to individuals worldwide where lawful, who are of legal age in their place of residence at the time of submission. If a minor appears in the content, the submitter must be the minor’s parent or legal guardian and consent to these Rules. Void where prohibited. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility.

2. How to Participate

Participants may upload photos or videos of their pet(s) using Blue-9 products by completing the submission form on the Program landing page and providing media via the upload.

Each submission must include the participant’s name, valid email, and acknowledgment of these Terms. There is no limit on the number of submissions, but each must be unique.

3. Content Use & Rewards

Blue-9 may review submissions on a rolling basis and, at its discretion, select certain entries to feature on Blue-9’s owned channels (website, social media, email, or advertising).

If a participant’s submission is selected and published, Blue-9 will contact the participant and provide one (1) $50 USD Blue-9 Gift Card (or local equivalent where permissible by law). The $50 reward is issued once per selected photo or video file, regardless of how many times or on how many platforms Blue‑9 uses it.

Reward is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Taxes, if any, are the recipient’s responsibility.

Gift cards are valid only on www.blue-9.com, have no cash value, and are non-transferable. They may not be replaced if lost, stolen, or expired, except where required by law.

Gift card use is subject to Blue-9’s general site Terms and Conditions and any additional terms printed or provided with the card.

4. Content Ownership & License

Participants retain ownership of their submissions but grant Blue-9 a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, edit, and distribute their submitted content (including names, likenesses, and dog names) in any media for marketing or promotional purposes.

Participants warrant they have rights to all material submitted and consent from any identifiable persons. Submissions depicting unsafe or inhumane animal handling will be disqualified.

5. Technical & File Guidelines

Photo files: JPG/PNG up to 15 MB, clear and well-lit.

Video files: MP4/MOV up to 500 MB, 10–60 seconds, 1080p+, vertical preferred.

Original audio or royalty-free music only.

6. Limitation of Liability

Blue-9 is not responsible for technical failures, corrupted files, or damages arising from participation. Participants release Blue-9, its affiliates, and representatives from all liability related to the Program or reward.

7. Privacy

All personal information is handled in accordance with the Blue-9 Privacy Policy at https://www.blue-9.com/policies/privacy-policy.

Data is used solely to operate this Program and deliver rewards. Optional marketing communications require separate consent.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Iowa.
