LEAD - Close Control Reflective Leash Need a dog leash that you can take from outback adventures, to running errands in-town? We have you covered with our LEAD Close Control Reflective Leash. You'll love this new lightweight, soft-touch webbing with reflective 3M stitching.
Designed by dog training experts for:
Dual Control Design
Features two handles - a traditional handle and a traffic loop close to the dog, allowing for greater control and aiding in training against pulling.
Easy to Clean
Made of durable and washable nylon, the leash can handle everyday use and can get dirty and wet without compromising its quality.
Versatile Usage
Use the longer leash for casual walks, extended sniffing, and loose leash walking. Use the traffic loop for busy sidewalks, bike paths, and crowded areas where instant, up-close control is needed.
Reflective for Safety
3M Reflective threads on the leash provide increased visibility during early mornings and late nights, ensuring safety during walks.
Small/Medium uses 5/8th inch webbing.
Medium/Large uses 1inch webbing.
Each leash is strength tested, so choose the webbing width most comfortable for your hands. Keep in mind, the Medium/Large leash will have a sturdy bolt snap, which may be too heavy for dogs under 40lbs.

I bought for my Bichon. The loop is not useful for a short dog since I can’t hold it while standing. It once became looped around his leg. I should have bought the multifunction leash instead.
Hi David, we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback on the 6' Leash you purchased. We're sorry to hear it hasn't worked for you with your Bichon. The front loop is designed primarily as an alternative grab handle when needed. Keeping in mind the challenge you are experiencing, our Multi-Function Leash is a great alternative that allows for multiple connection points and may better suit your needs. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our friendly customer service team at CustomerService@Blue-9.com for questions when you need answers.

This leash is very useful. It is reflective to moderate degree and I like the handle close to the dog that is useful when you want the dog close to you. However, the medium size is a bit narrow in width and would be more comfortable on the human hand if it was wider and padded. The hardware is good quality.
Hello Gordon, thank you for your thoughtful review and valuable feedback. We're happy to hear that our leash has proven to be a practical solution for your walks with your pup. Your insights regarding the width and padding are greatly appreciated. We're grateful for your support and for choosing our brand!

Love it! Perfect weight and easy on the hands.
R
This is a great leash, not too heavy and easy to use.
C
Very comfortable to handle and love the addition of the short traffic handle to, perfect for keeping your dog close when needs be.
J
I thought I was getting a heavier leash. But I believe this will work for me.

It seemed like a perfectly good leash, well made, and so forth, until that loop down by the collar latch not only would loop around my dog’s front legs on occasion, it once even looped around his neck while he was looking up at me on a walk. He’s a 13-lb chihuahua mix. Maybe it’s not for smaller dogs?
Thanks for your review, Donelle. We are sorry to hear about your experience, as it is not something we have heard from our leash customers. It is good to see that you have since returned the product for a refund. Best wishes to you and your pup!

I like the length and reflective aspect. The loop at the connection to the harness is handy for restraining our Cooper.

Nice feel in hand. Pretty long. 2 widths to choose from.

After getting wet we dried it in thebsun a few hours and it frayed. Now leaves, dried moss and other debris stick to it like velcro.
Hello Ryan,
Thanks for your feedback. We would love to see photos of what you are describing so we can understand why you are struggling with your product fraying. Thousands of our harnesses are used, and washed without fraying, so we are very interested in understanding a bit more about how you are using the harness so we can forward the information to our product team. If possible please send photos to us at CustomerService@Blue-9.com so they can relay the information. Thanks!

I love it. The weight of the clip is nice and light. My dog is very obedient on-leash so I don’t need anything super strong.

Lightweight and perfect length for my Mothers medium size dog.
